Incorporated in the Summer of 2009, the Lac du Bonnet Ice Fishing Derby Inc. is the official organization of the annual event. The Chamber of Commerce supports the derby by advertising the event on this website as a community public service.

The Lac du Bonnet Ice Fishing Derby is pleased to disburse profits from the 2008 derby to support beneficial community projects. Thirteen groups were funded this year for a total of $10,000.
